Dunedin has won Downtown Redevelopment awards and its pedestrian friendly, occasionally closed for events and festivals. Approach downtown from the Pinellas Bike Trail which runs through 37 miles around Pinellas County. The Dunedin Marina is home to luxury yachts and sailboats as well as live aboard boat residents which is next to the Bon Apitit Restaurant that is popular for weddings and meetings. The view across the bay is overlooking Caledesi State Park which has shelters and is accessible by ferry from the Dunedin Causeway. Dunedin Country Club was home to the first PGA.
Mease Morton Plant Hospital anchors the downtown area. Former Citrus plants have given way to newer businesses.
The Palm Lined Bayshore blvd. is a scenic drive and walkway that overlooks Clearwater Beach Bay.
Westfield Mall is just outside the city.
