South Pasco County

South Pasco County begins just North of the Anclote Rive, which meanders into and originates in Pasco County near the Starkey Wilderness area. With plenty of land, the county is well planned for transportation and infrastructure. The newest area is Trinity Florida with tens of thousands of new homes planned. The new Medical Center of Trinity is a strategic area hospital. Hwy 54 corridor, sports new communities as you travel toward the Interstate 75 and pass under the Suncoast Parkway, a major corridor from Tampa Airport to Brooksville. The Suncoast Trail is part of the Florida Statewide Greenway and Trails system, for cyclists and sport enthusiasts. A mixture of new Subdivisions and horse ranches buffer the Parkway.

Paso County Waterfront on the Gulf of Mexico includes planned communities such as Gulf Harbors, the Woodlands and Sea Forest, where canals were blasted out of lime rock for waterfront living. Green Key is a Park right on the Gulf with sunset views. The Cotee River affords an abundance of homes with Gulf access. Tarpon, Grouper and other fish abound.

Downtown New Port Richey is convenient to the Cotee River and Sims Park with events throughout the year.

North of Downtown are streets named for US presidents and film stars who frequented the area in the past.

Hudson Beach is a popular spot. The waterfront begins the area known as the Nature Coast which begins in Pasco and continues up toward the Florida Panhandle.
